Reviews of evidence are useful for readers wishing to understand the breadth of evidence, and common or key findings, on a particular topic.
For simplicity we have grouped the standard types of review into two broad categories for our Evidence Hub, as follows:

| Systematic review | More rigorous types of review, including: rapid evidence reviews (systematic, quick overviews of research on a topic, and synthesis of the evidence to answer a specific question), full systematic reviews (systematic, broader reviews of research on a topic, and synthesis of the evidence to answer the review question) and meta reviews (systematic, similar approach to other methods but only includes reviews of other reviews). |
